You wake up a little too late --for me pretty much every morning-- but you don't want to skip breakfast. If this sounds familiar, this might be the right breakfast for you!
It might look like there's ''a lot'' of ingredients, but I promise, it's ready before you know it! Plus, since this is prepared in the blender, you can just throw all ingredients in, pulse for about ten to twenty seconds and then pop it in the microwave.
Okay, let's start.
You need:
a half cup of oats (gluten free ones if you can't have gluten)
2 TBS of ripe bananas
2 TBS of greek yoghurt
2 TBS of milk of your choosing
1 tsp of baking powder
1 egg
a little bit of cinnamon
a pinch of salt
a bit of sweetener (I use maple syrup)
Add all of the above in the blender and pulse until smooth. Transfer to a mug/cup --at this point you can also add some chopped nuts, cocoa powder, berries, etc-- and put in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes (depending on your microwave)
Garnish --if you have some time left--. Enjoy while it's still warm!
