I don't know about you, but one of my favorite meals of the day is breakfast and at the same time, I find it the hardest to come up with new ideas to start my day of right. Especially in a healthy way!
So I'm experimenting with different ingredients and ideas. And to benefit you, I'll take the mishaps and will just blog about the winners. ;)
Today's winner: Teff porridge, fall-style. It's creamy, warm, delicious and filled with healthiness.
What you need: Teff, milk of your choosing, pureed pumpkin, nutmeg and cinnamon (or any other spice you might enjoy), some pecans and maple syrup (or other sweetener of your choosing)
Warm the milk with the pureed/mashed pumpkin and then add the teff until it's as thick as you'd enjoy. Then crush some pecans on top and drizzle the maple syrup over it.
Enjoy right away when it's still warm.
This will start your day of healthy and (full)filled!
